"Uncomfortable - No Air Conditioning"

The listing deceptively claims there is air conditioning - there is only an electric fan. Windows cannot be left open at night due to gaping holes in the mosquito screens. Very uncomfortable sleeping conditions. Visitors arriving by train should be prepared for a difficult 20 minute uphill, in scorching Italian summer heat.

Spotlessly clean, well heated, good size bedroom, lots of storage in wardrobes. continental breakfast was made with love and they really included every option you could think of.

bathroom was dedicated to room but not ensuite. there was a key to bathroom but it was difficult to open and lock (it took a few goes) and it was noisy to do.
