There should be good sign board directions. It was not easy to locate.

Breakfast should have an option, e.g., eggs

"Very basic, remote and (luckily) cheap."

7.0

We wanted a cheap base for exploring (what we thought was) a hub for tourism in this part of Senegal. The guest house is on the outskirts of a very small village, with little to do. There are two larger hotels, which offer some activities and tours, but we simply payed for a bed to sleep in, and got nothing more.

The breakfast was very basic - bread and 1 piece of cheese alongside some jam, with coffee/tea. Some eggs or fruit would have been welcome. The staff was super friendly, but didn't speak a word of English, and as we don't speak French, it complicated communications a bit. We could only pay by cash, which meant that we on the last day had to find our own way to Kaolack (1½ hours away) which is the closest ATM, Not a super stay, and we skipped out on the last night to stay at one of the bigger hotels close by.
