USExcellent location. Beautiful large, luxurious bathroom with plenty of natural light. Big bedroom. Kitchen is an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay here.
A few amenities such as more than one set of towels per person for a week's stay would be nice. A coffee pot that's not a moka. And more than one light bulb in the hallway chandelier would be nice since otherwise its a dark hallway where you're keeping your clothes and it's hard to see. Very minor issues but would make a big difference

The fact that it was a one bedroom apartment but didn't have a sofa no living room. Kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Perhaps adding a small sofa in the bedroom would be a plus I'm sure!!!

UACharacter of the apartment was perfectly matched with the village - lovingly restored local dwelling complete with full length windows facing cobbled street - Location was ideal right in the middle of the central square l. Very very spacious.
I would really appreciate kitchen to be stocked with some basic condiments and disposables such as salt, pepper and paper towels. Village is tiny and there is no proper grocery store to pop in and buy. Also no sense to buy such items to be used just for a couple of nights so I thought that was a little annoying. Note that you need to return tye keys into a location that is 10 min walk from apartment. No issue if using the train but car goes to opposite direction. We dropped off the keys in the location that was closer to apartment because of that. Make sure it is ok.

GBIt was exactly what we needed for our stay, lovely spacious bedroom and gorgeous bathroom, along with fully kitted kitchen if needed.
The property is directly next to the church so we heard the church clock every single hour, however, you could hear this no matter where you were in Varenna so I think it would have been a pain regardless!
