The Forge Kington St Michael

It was extremely clean and quite cosy. Kitchen is really well-equipped. There is anything you could need during your stay.

This place is lovely , it is in a village near Chippenham, it is relatively easy to arrive, not that easy to leave, the public transportation is just a few and if you want to take a cab/uber you need to pay the amount from Chippenham to the village, and then of course the amount from the village to wherever you need to go. However, Alex as a host was wonderful, we settle a deal with him to drive us to the different places we needed to go. Almost everything is new. It has a chimney for calefaction, for us were nice, we never ran out of wood, and the space kept cosy.

One of the matress is not too comfortable. And the windows didnt have any blackout, so as soon as the sun is rising, the light goes into the room, not the ideal if you want to sleep more.

There was no separate soap for shower or shampoo. Had to manage with hand wash., A microwave oven was desirable. There is room to keep include in the kitchen.

A warm greeting on arrival. Tea, coffee and milk all supplied. The pub was very welcoming as was the cafe the next morning. Can't fault the booked facilities or the nearby ones.
