The king bed is too high

Juste un peu loin du centre mais on le savait et on a choisi le logement pour être au calme.

Quite place with private parking , the kids loved to watch the animals. Movies room! Full kitchen, very comfortable beds. Feel like it was our house

The location was nice but we expected to be a lot nearer to the lake. We could see the lake but it was a long way away. We expected to be able to sit overlooking the lake. The apartment however was spacious, extremely clean and very comfortable. Attention to detail was excellent. Some outside chairs and cushions would have been nice to appreciate the scenery. There was no where to sit outside. This is the perfect place for a week to two week stay, less so for one night.

There were a lot of house rules. The hosts want guest to feel welcome but also want them gone promptly or so it felt! Departure time is at 10.00am sharp. No late checkouts whatsoever. This is a lot of pressure after hours of driving to get to the property. Normal check in is not until after 4.00pm so I don't understand why departure has to be so early. It was impossible to lock up. We followed the instructions for 15 mins but could not get the door to lock. We had to find the owner of the house to help us. She was very helpful and said we had to hold a key down on the automatic lock but this was nowhere on the instructions. There is a $40 charge if the door is not locked on exit so again more pressure.

Beautiful place.

The heat was controlled by the home upstairs and it was very cold when we arrived and took quite a while to get wam from a small fireplace heater.

Location, comfortable bed, privacy

The "fireplace" heats up the kitchen quickly but it was turned off when we got there. It took a little while to figure it out.
