Cosy first floor flat

Lovely flat and great location for where I needed to be. Clearly cared for and really nicely decorated. Comfortable.

Great communication throughout from Michaela, and upon arrival everything was clear on using appliances. Flat was clean, well equipped, with a comfy bed and a powerful shower. Great value and only an easy / pleasant 30 minute into Hereford, or a 5 minute drive if you fancy being lazy!

It was all fine.

Based in a leafy suburb ten minutes from the centre of Hereford, this self-catering apartment was modern and spotlessly clean. Great night's sleep in a comfy bed. Tastefully decorated. Good food preparation, cooking facilities. Host left some cake and an invitation to use stuff e.g. tea, coffee, condiments etc

No iron, ironing board, which is unhelpful as clothes had become creased in transit in a suitcase. Three full length mirrors were present - two in the living room and one in the hallway - one positioned in the bedroom might have been more suitable. No wardrobe so longer garments had to be hung from tops of doors etc (no hangers provided), though there was an ample sized dressing table. The kitchen had a table/four chairs but there was nowhere to rest e.g. a cup of coffee in the living room (apart from a tray which was left on a chair - no good if two people stayed here). The temptation was to put the cup on the floor, on the thick, light-coloured carpet, but I resisted that to avoid spillage. There were instructions left by the host for operating the oven. None for the TV though which would have been helpful. Also, guidelines for finding shops etc were vague, unhelpful for someone not familiar with the locality.

This flat is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in a very green part of Hereford. The view from the light and airy sitting room is stunning. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and have everything you need. The flat was very clean and the bed was comfy.

Parking is on the street as you enter the cul-de-sac, so it is not possible to park right next to the flat entrance. However, we had no problems parking. The stairs up to this first-floor flat are very steep, so it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The bed was fine, but I would have preferred it to be slightly larger.
