Lovely Holiday Caravan, great location - Pebble Bank, near Chesil Beach

While the caravan was in a lovely park it with fantastic views, it was rather dated compared to other caravans on the same park. Several things didn’t work (the TV, the plug socket in the kids bedroom and a plug socket in the main bedroom). There were also a few things that need a bit of attention like the panel next to the en-suite toilet (it fell off while we were there) and the light fixture in the same room was coming away from the ceiling. The steps and small area by the door was pretty mouldy and could do with a clean (first impressions were of dirty plastic). The kitchen had very basic equipment but could benefit from more items like sharp knives, chopping board etc. It didn’t have any outside space like others on the site either such as tables or chairs. I guess without a veranda or sorts they might struggle to provide that (and I know it’s a campsite so plenty of “outdoor” space but it would be nice to be able to enjoy the view from outside the caravan). The caravan next door was having work done on arrival so we had to listen to the workmen’s music (Eminem etc. wasn’t appropriate for our young kids so shut the windows/doors) and the other side didn’t have a caravan so looked a bit unsightly. I wouldn’t say any of this ruined the stay at all but it certainly felt less relaxing had these issues otherwise not been apparent. To summarise we probably wouldn’t rebook this particular caravan but would another one on the same park which says it all.

Excellent location, clean and no need to go to reception. You have sea view from main bedroom. Sunsets are amazing.

Nothing, just one suggestion to maybe have outdoor chairs and table. Everything else was perfect.

Clean, well-appointed caravan. Great communications from host. Problem with sink repaired immediately. Quiet holiday park. Fantastic location, wonderful views across Chesil Beach.
