Carlisle City Centre The Wash House

Brilliant location - for everything in Carlisle, and especially for going by train or bus as it was very near the bus and train stations. We made full use of both. Good to have outdoor space in courtyard as it was very warm weather. Very quiet and tucked away.

Somebody staying previously had done something to the oven settings including timer and child lock and we didn't fully manage to get it back to standard settings. it would have been nice to find it left so we could use it rather than having to plough through instruction manual! But this was a minor issue . Otherwise nothing we didn't like

Patio is in SERIOUS need of a steam clean; it is currently most unattractive, and detracts from the overall EXCELLENT impression . With the arrival of summer, the patio offers a pleasant and secluded spot for relaxation, but it is in need of a serious clean-up. .

Location was fantastic and had everything you could need.

Great location - close to amenities and parking. Easy to unload car before moving car to car park. Good size. Well appointed. Half bottle of fizz appreciated (could have been left in the fridge!). Well priced compared to other places I had considered

Only one pod for the coffee machine. An old pod left by the previous occupants had been left in the machine. A teaspoon with dried out coffee had been left in the cutlery tray. Whilst the shower room and shower were spacious, the design of the shower ensured puddles would form on the floor even after a short shower turned down to minimise flooding. It was a little stuffy with no option for allowing in fresh air overnight.
