Cao Bằng Siu homestay

It was easy and clean Staff was easy to reach by WhatsApp Location was great

The owner was very present to help by wattsap, lots of recommendations, rent bike, bus. Everything :)

The homestay is in a very central location just a few steps away from all the cafes overlooking the river. It is a residential building converted into a homestay. Some rooms are with a private bathroom some shared. The rooms are clean. Siu is incredibly helpful even though she is invisible. The communication is perfect via what's up. All in all a very good value stay. It is possible to rent a motorbike and arrange all travels etc.

The towels are a bit too small.

Siu is very professional and reactive, she and her brother took great care of us to organize our trip from Cao Bang to Cat Ba, thank you very much :)

I recommend you to take the room with window beacause the others don’t have ventilation and feel humid

Good local near the river

There is a major mold and sewage smell in the building. It seems like they just painted over the mold. The owners' kids hit and flip off the guests, thinking it's cute and the staff thinks it's funny.

Pillows were comfy, but the mattress was much harder than we preferred. Room was clean, but the bathroom had a constant damp smell that would seep into the room if the door was left open. The staff had forgotten to give us toilet roll and towels, but accommodated to us accordingly (even though it was out of their working hours). The store the homestay resides on becomes very loud, which took us by surprise.

Totally recomand Staff is awesome, room is clean and modern, and good location You can rent a motorbike there, it's very useful Also Staff were very helpful :-)
