CASA BETANIA DA PEPPE

Casa Betania was absolutely amazing, so clean and bright and beautiful. The host, Giovanni was so kind and welcoming and treated us like family. It was such a relaxing stay and we loved the welcome package as well.

Nothing, our stay was incredible. We would come here over and over again. And we will recommend this to all of our friends and family.

The house itself was wonderful, and the surrounding area was absolutely beautiful. Giovanni and his family were extremely hospitable. We felt very at home there and comfortable in contacting Giovanni when we had questions about the house or Sorrento itself. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and this has to be the best booking experience we have ever had. Would definitely recommend to travellers who are needing some guidance for around the area!

We had nothing negative to say about our stay

It was well removed from the noice of the city centre and provided some increasingly views. Inside was set up beautifully and 3 of us had plenty of room.

Exotic, peaceful location, away from the crowds. Beautiful, close up views of the mountainside. Feels like home. But above all it was our host that put this place over the top. Giovanni was always there to help, going out of his way to do everything humanly possible to make our stay and visit pleasurable, including dropping us off and picking us up on more than one occasion. Thank you my friend. You made it all worth it.

My husband and I have travelled the world and this is quite possibly the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. From the exceptional communication to the kindness, flexibility, responsiveness and generosity of Giovanni and his family, to the incredible location - beautiful views overlooking the rolling hills of olive trees and down to Sorrento and the water - everything was great. It’s only a few minutes drive up the hill (or a decent walk with great views which we did one day if you feel like some exercise!), so quite magical to be so close to the action at the same time as experiencing the tranquility of the farm with a village feel. We felt like we became a part of the family for 5 days and truly didn’t want to leave. Giovanni and family are very passionate about making sure their guests have the best possible experience, including the offer of lifts to and from town, providing us with endless tips and recommendations of where to visit (down to the detail of where to find the best spot to stand and watch the fireworks display that happened while we were there!) and gifting us with incredible fresh and delicious produce from the farm (including yummy olive oil, tomatoes and lemons)! The washing machine, free private parking and fully equipped kitchen were also a big bonus for us. We unexpectedly cooked and ate at home a few nights because we enjoyed the apartment and sunset view too much to leave! We used Sorrento as a base to explore the wider area too and highly recommend it for that. We rented a Vespa for part of the time to explore a bit further afield too, which I also highly recommend! Casa Betania is at the top of our list to revisit if we ever have the chance.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with genuine kindness and a warm smile, setting the tone for a memorable experience. Giovanni is the kindest host who goes above and beyond for our guests. Upon landing very late in the night we were worried about the lack of food options so late in the night. When I expressed this to Giovanni in passing as we organised check in dates, not only did he provide us with a beautiful hamper filled with fresh local produce he also took time out of his day to make us a delicious pasta dish. The hotel is situated on a farm so you can imagine the freshness of the ingredients. Not only that, amid the heatwave he made sure to offer us lifts and helps us organise ourselves so we weren’t left trekking in the sun. His insider knowledge of sorrento added an extra layer of authenticity to our stay. He was at our disposable 24/7 for anything we needed and we felt very comfortable and looked after. Us being students and it being our first time travelling, we were worried. But if it wasn’t for Giovanni we wouldn’t have enjoyed as much as we did. He felt like an uncle to us and we are so happy to stay in contact. If you’re looking for somewhere with incredible hospitality, beautiful views and good vibes, this is your place ! I left Casa betania with fond memories, a refreshed spirit and I can’t wait to visit again in the future. Everything was absolutely perfect! Giovanni, his family and staff are extremely kind and they were always more than happy to pick us up and take us down to the town at any time. The welcome pack of fresh tomatoes, basil, wine and ingredients for a pasta dish was very thoughtful. The property, location, host and views were faultless and stunning!! There were several spots outside to sit in the sun and a picnic table on the terrace that was free to use. This property really is heaven!!

There was nothing to dislike about this property. It was certainly the best hospitality we have ever experienced!!! Nothing was too much to ask!!

One of the best accommodation I have visited! Everything about this place was perfect. The facilities, the service, the atmosphere, the owner! who was so responsive to our every request! Gave us the feeling of home and completed everything that was missing 🙌🏻 I recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy their vacation, to come to Pepe!

The vacation ended too quickly🥲

Now, I honestly do not have enough words to describe how AMAZING our experience was at Casa Betania. Our lovely host went out of his way to pick us up from Sorrento Port and even went as far as driving us to and from Sorento as it is a bit of a walk. Upon arrival, we were met by the beautiful family and Uncle who was nothing short of a God send to us on the trip. They even prepared us a lovely dinner as they thought we would have been hungry from all the travelling which we were! They also provided us with local wine, fresh eggs, their own olive oil which was all in the welcome hamper that they provided us with. The hamper simply blew us away! It was so thoughtful and came with everything needed for 2 meals. It was just the best experience. The property was thoroughly cleaned, the view was amazing and all the facilities offered worked very well and were basically all new. This stay has been the highlight of our Italy trip and we cannot wait to return to Casa Betania. A big thank you to Giovanni and Uncle for the warmest welcome, all the help they offered, the kindness and the extra touches to making this trip such a memorable one! Toyin and Layo x
