We stayed for a week in this fully equipped apartment in the heart of Bergamo’s lower town. It’s located in a beautiful historic building, and we didn’t miss a thing. Marco and Marina’s hospitality was truly exceptional, especially on our last day when we were running late for the airport, and Marco kindly drove us there himself. A big thank you for everything! My wife and I stayed in Residenza in Palazzo Storico nel Cuore di Bergamo for three nights. We travel a lot, but we have never had such a friendly and helpful host. We arrived late in Bergamo, and he waited for us at the airport to drive us to the apartment. There was still and sparkling water prepared for us on arrival. During our stay, we needed to contact him, and he was incredibly friendly and helpful. The apartment has a perfect location near the central square of the lower town. It is close to everything: the city center, bus station, and train station. There are couple of very cute restaurants and café bars nearby as well as shopping center. The apartment is located in a historic building with its own courtyard. The gate to the yard can be locked, and the apartment is absolutely peaceful. The apartment is very tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything you might need. Everything is new and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly (actually, there are two networks to choose from). We noticed that some reviewers mentioned not so good Wi-Fi, but that was not our experience, perhaps it was an issue in the past. Upper town is cute and Bergamo is an excellent base for exploration of the region. We visit this region often and will definitely stay here again.

Roberta was super helpful and arranged also water boiler for us, and an additional cutting knife.

The internet access originally provided had poor coverage. However Roberta provided us later with another wifi access and it was flawless.

Kind host Roberta (she lives next door, waited for us although we had delayed flight and arrived around midnight), quit place, easy check-out, great location close to city centre as well as bus/train station, you can take bus no.1 from the Bergamo airport and get off at the bus stop Porta Nuova and walk for 8 minutes.

Mattress could be more comfy.

Very good location. Neat apartment. Everything for every day living was ok. Express shop was near by and pizzeria downstairs.

Bed was way too much low, it was very difficult to get up. The "sofa" was not for sitting, too low too. If you have heart or joint problems I dont recommend this for you. You have to climb stony, narrow steps to fourth level!

The location is incredible! In a historic building near to everything you could need. Short walk to the center and plenty of cafes, shops, and restaurants nearby. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, and all the kitchen tools you might need. The host was kind, friendly, and accommodating. And the TV provided is huge. Seriously. It's like sitting in a movie theater!

The couch/futon thing is very small and uncomfortable so it's not a good place to relax in front of the TV. The bed is very low to the ground and the mattress is pretty soft. No fan or AC and in the evening mosquitos can come in the open windows (though a plug-in mosquito deterrent is provided).

Very nice and clean apartment located in a beautiful area. Very quiet and peaceful. Excellent contact with the owner. I am very pleased with my stay in this place.
