Clifton’s Cosy Escape

It was beautiful they had set the sofa bed up for us too, it was a perfect little hidden gem, really nice area, really central to anywhere you need in Bristol lots of parking nearby just great all around

A really nice place to stay. Clean, Cosy, well equipt and central.

the size of the place was nice, good location.

the property hadn't been cleaned. not even the bedding had been changed. the kitchen had not been cleaned, the sink and dry rack were dirty; there was food left in the fridge from previous guests. the bathroom had not been cleaned. and the bedding had black pubes (neither me nor my partner have the facilities to make that happen) and sand in it. as a cleaner of holiday villas myself, i was apalled. i have a video of myself cleaning the bathroom tap if the owners would like to email me with a refund.

Great location. Responsive owners. Everything we needed for our stay.

The basement flat was lovely, clean and tidy. We arrived and the place was warm and cozy. Tea, coffee etc all provided and unexpected. Lots of communication from the owners, quick responses via messages prior to arrival and they where very helpful.

Unfortunately, we had an unexpected issue with the boiler on our booking, resulting in very little sleep (if any), which did ruin the stay at Cliftons Cosy Escape. Had we known it was appropriate to contact the owners at any given time during the late/early hours of the morning, all would have been rectified. Having not used booking.com before I am slightly put off by this experience. The basement flat otherwise is perfect.

The Cosy Escape - was a stylish, clean and comfortable flat. A lot bigger than we expected, my husband and myself along with our toddler and 2 cot beds that was provided and set up for us was in the bedroom. The king sofa bed In the living room down the hall was used for a movie night along with my mother staying with us. The hall way with dinning area and bathroom was also lovely. The kitchen was superb with a huge range of a supplies , tea,sugar and milk was unlimited with extra supplies of oil, rice, ketchup and pasta sauce. Bread and fresh milk and water was also given with biscuits. :)

These hosts were super helpful, speedy at replying when I messaged them for some advice. Lovely space! Nice and clean.

When we turned up westher was super bad. House seemed hard to find. We couslnt see the number on the door above...I believe the instructions said something about being opposite the lido, but I think saying it was opposite the Victoria Inn pub would be easier and potentially a photo...the maps doesn't quite get you there.
