"Great holiday experience."

As nature and lovers of the outdoors. The setting and location was great and exceeded our expectations. How the management team handled two Eskom power outages. They kept their cool and made other plans.

We had to leave as planned. Would have loved to stay longer.

"Perfect outdoor getaway"

Sally was really helpful and explained everything that was available on arrival. I enjoyed my stay. The room also has a helpful booklet with all the info around the area as well as at the property. You can hike, ride horses with Helen, paddle out with a boat, look at a waterfall, play board games and other outdoor games such as volley ball. It is also a farm where you can feed the animals. There is a restaurant with bar that serves breakfast, lunch and supper.They have amazing home made bread for their sandwiches and their homemade pies are delicious.This place has exceeded my expectations. You can really get away from city life at this guest farm. We even extended our stay with one night as we enjoyed it here so much.

Beautiful hikes on mountain and indigenous forest, friendly helpful staff, good food. Beautiful calm and peaceful spot. Quaint comfortable cottage. Kids loved the horse lesson and short ride.

Gypsey cottage is very cold in the winter...

"Very poor customer service."

Apparently the information from this site was not sent to them correctly and our one tent only had 2 beds instead of 4. The response at reception was that it is not their problem and maybe we can go look for another place to stay. This at 4pm with our 5 children. So disappointing.

"Came to walk, This was accomplished satisfactorily. Yummy dinner/breakfast - That was an unexpected."

We liked the low key casual approach - Thought the forest/stream hiking trails are extremely well designed and maintained. Whispering waters cabin fine. Liked the fact that the farm has history and it its preserved. Capitalise on it!

All good really - what we expected and what we got - we will back with friends. Keep going.

"Rose Cottage"

A lovely quiet farm. The Rose cottage was well kept. It is small for 6, as advertised, but excellent value for money. Lovely gardens and views.
