Meo Vac Valley

Breakfast was better than dinner. Breakfast was simple but tasty pho while dinner was a hotpot. I'm not huge on hotpot but this was acceptable. The problem was a bunch of drunken locals on a Ha Giang guided tour. They were loud and rowdy and right next to us in the dining area.

The hotel is located in a small complex of perhaps half a dozen hotels. It was the last one, none of them were well signed so we ended up searching around in the rain for them.

We only had hot water for like 5min, then it wasnt anymore even until the next day. Could hear the other rooms complaining about this too!

Very dirty place, lots of insects and lizards running in the room. Lots of cockroaches in bed sheets and it's not possible to sleep. There was a karaoke all night so there is no chance to sleep. No one speaks English there and there's no one in the reception desk. The "dinner" you see on photos is made only for Vietnamese. If you're a foreigner you just get some chicken and rice for 100 000 VND/person! Avoid this place and choose other accommodation nearby

Nice place to spend the night in Meo vac valley. Located in the tranquil tourist village. It's located in a scenic valley overlooking the mountains. The dorm was clean and spacious and the beds comfortable. They even offered bbq dinner for a decent price.
