Comfortable Apartment - Pittsburgh's Little Italy

I didn't like anything about this old house that is falling apart

It was advertised as an air-conditioned apartment. It was 98° and 90% humidity when I arrived and there was one tiny small air conditioner in the bedroom and one tiny small air conditioner in the living room. Neither one was blowing cold air just air. The advertised laundry facilities are behind a padlocked door down a pair of dark rickety old wooden steps to a damp old basement. No light. I could only smell the basement and use my flashlight on my cell phone to see the basement floor. It was dirt or maybe it wet concrete but definitely no finishes down there and there was no way I could make it down those old steps and back up and it was not safe to stay in that place with the temperature and humidity on what they were. I kindly asked the guy for a refund because it was not safe for me to stay there. He told me too bad I'm a small business and you're not getting your money back. I left, turning off his rickety old air conditioning units before I did which I could have let running and run up his electric bill which would have been much more than what I paid for the apartment. It is in the back a rickety old cement steps that are falling apart on the way. no handrails actually. Now that I think of it I think I'm going to call the city. Do not book here. You will regret it. The shower was so small. You would be hitting your elbows on the walls trying to wash your hair

Location was great, only a few minutes to Liberty Street where we found shops, restaurants, boutique stores, etc. Very safe neighborhood. Nice little apartment in the back of the main house. Very quiet. Free parking via a link they will send. Air conditioning. Very clean. Rooms are a decent size. Code to get inside, no keys.

Nothing other than the bathroom was very small but no problem.

Great location, clean and quiet. The owner was very responsive and nice as well. Definitely recommend staying here if you need a place in Pittsburgh!
