Casa Zia Luisa

Spacious, clean and well equipped apartment with washing machine conveniently on the ground floor set back from the street with a nice yard in front. The owner Davide is exceptionally helpful and his lovely mother, who lives above you, is always there to assist you in case you can speak Italian. Davide speaks fluent English. Two female dogs will greet you barking and if you speak dog you quickly realize they are demanding bribes. Give them a treat or two and you instantly have loving friends to enjoy. Convenient parking on the street nearby, right in front if you are lucky like I was. A bonus are the dimmable recessed ceiling halogen lights enabling you to enjoy a cozy healthy warm low light in the spacious living room.

I really enjoyed my stay there and this place exceeded my expectations. The apartment is big but very nice, cozy and comfortable, and there is everything you need for a longer stay. The kitchen is very well-equipped. The wifi and the heating worked well and it was warm inside even during the colder days. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It is located in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, a bit far from the center of Lecco if you want to walk but you can get there by train in a few minutes - the train station is just a a few minutes away by walk.

It was close to public transport, the appartment was clean, and the area was nice. Overall a very nice place to stay!

This property was outside Lecco but easily reached by public transport nearby. Parking off the street was easily available. Davide and his mother were very helpful and lovely to chat with them. Can recommend this property

Absolutely FANTASTIC! We were surprised everything was on site coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, even washing mashine tabs, virgin oil and some cakes as welcome gift. The Mamma is so friendly and two dogs were next minutes our best buddies... App is 100% clean - typical Italian... close proximity to train station where Trenord can take you direct to Porta Garibaldi in Milano Centre. The best location for time boomers and luxury seekers

The owner, Davide, was always in contact with us and always ready to help if we needed anything. The place was big enough for our family and had a nice garden outside to enjoy! The train station was nearby and centre of Lecco was easily reachable. The church bell ringing was definitely a plus.

I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Zia Luisa. It's a big spacious apartment, with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It's in a convenient location, about 5 minutes from Lecco-Maggianico Station which has regular trains to central Lecco. There's a park close by and you are 15 minutes' walk from the riverside walk to Lake Como. I particularly liked that there was a place to leave my bicycle. The apartment is on the ground floor of a house owned by the family. The proprietor of the apartment, Davide, was friendly and easy to contact in case of any queries. He answered any questions very promptly. Davide's mother Elsa, who lives above the apartment, was very friendly and can answer questions as long as you speak Italian. WiFi signal was good and there were lots of towels and bedding. The kitchen had the crockery and utensils needed, and was generously stocked with pasta, crispbread, jam, plus coffee, herbal tea, milk, and water. I would definitely stay in this apartment again when I'm in the area.

Our stay at this apartment was outstanding. The apartment features a spacious living room, a comfortable bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a hallway, and a bathroom. It includes all essential appliances: cutlery, pots, a microwave, an oven, a dishwasher, as well as necessary items like trash bags, dishwasher capsules, coffee, tea, towels, and soap. You could easily stay here comfortably for a year. The location is also excellent - close to the train station and a bus stop, with a grocery store nearby. Special thanks go to the kind hostess and her son Davide. We communicated with him via WhatsApp as Davide speaks fluent English. He regularly checked in to ensure we had everything we needed, gave excellent advice on must-see places, and assisted with bus tickets. There are the best hosts we have ever had. If we ever return to Lecco, we will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
