Location is wonderful if you want the feel of the village. The home is traditional, clean and has everything you need. The beds could use a little soft topper but we have found that this is Greece when it comes to beds. We would stay here again.

it was a little bit of a challenge to get the keys, only because there is no street address for the house, but Georgia called me and arranged to meet us and guided us in. First, let me start with the most outstanding feature for me...the sweeping view from the veranda over the bay of Oitilo. Absolutely breathtaking. Georgia had a little welcome basket for us on the table that contained a little bottle of red wine, a little bottle of tsipiro (liquor), bottles of water and a bag of traditional Mani sticks. The kitchen was well stocked, though we didn't really use it. The bedrooms were comfortable and I especially appreciated the black out shutters and the air conditioning. The bathroom was very nice and had plenty of amenities, like little bottles of bath gel and shampoo and conditioner. The house was clean and we truly enjoyed our stay. It is a great base for exploring the Mani. One thing to consider is there is a narrow spiral staircase from one floor to another (the house has 3 floors) and it may be difficult to drag a large suitcase up. Luckily, we had small weekend packs. The ground floor was simply an entry, the first floor contained the bedrooms and bathroom and on the second floor were the kitchen, an eating area and the wonderful veranda. Nicely decorated with a lot of attention to detail. I highly recommend this house for a quiet stay - there isn't much going on in Oitilo, other than a couple of tavernas with knock-out views, but it is only a 10 minute walk to Limeni and you can drive to Aeorpoli in around 10 minutes as well.
