The Dairy light and relaxing

Location was so tranquil with plenty of wildlife.

The hosts were perfect - so friendly and kind. I couldn’t have asked for more. It was a great location - 8 minutes from the sea and shops but very tucked away in the countryside. It was a great location and very peaceful. I felt very safe and relaxed there as a solo female traveller.

There wasn’t enough hot water to run a full bath for one person. I did eventually find the boost in the cupboard but it took quite a while to heat up. There were no overhead lights throughout the property working except the bathroom. The property could only by lit by lamps, all of the ceiling bulbs were either missing or expired. It was a bit daunting coming back in the dark and having to fumble with a torch to find the lamp switches. The kitchen washing up sponge and scrubbing brush had been previously used and was a bit grubby, I didn’t use it as it felt a bit unhygienic. It was quite cold at night but very warm in the mornings. Not sure if the heating could be adjusted to address this.

Location was excellent - peaceful

Peaceful location. Well equipped with all the cooking essentials. Very cost and warm once we switched on the storage heaters.

The hot water did run on on first night so I think because of the way the heating system works maybe the owners should ensure the hot water boost is on after the cottage is cleaned. Especially if people want a shower or bath that evening. We had used the hot water on washing up etc.

A very romantic location, secluded from the outside world so you can lose yourself in the stay. A very warm and comfortable property that has great surroundings. The property itself is larger than expected and very well laid out. Would recommend to any couple to visit.
