"Cosy, lively, Irish bar with great food and great location."

9.0

Gorgeous scenic views from room. Clean, modern, spacious room with particularly comfortable bed and lovely soft linens. Very good shower. Lively bar and great food and drink. Hairdryer, kettle, TV facilities all good. Cosy room with the rain and wind battering off the big corner window. Would have loved to stay another night.

Bar and restaurant were particularly busy which was due to circumstance explained by owner. Limited parking spaces (we got the last one). Noisy from outside at closing time but to be expected above a pub so not a concern. Difficult to get served quickly at the bar due to crowds but staff friendly and doing their best.

Sehr neues und gemütliches Zimmer. Die Gestaltung der Dusche war außergewöhnlich und sehr schön.

Kleine Unzulänglichkeiten in der Reinigung trübten leider den Gesamteindruck (Toilettenbrille).

The location was amazing for the view and the beach was a 2 minute walk. The food in the pub was excellent. The room itself was to a very high standard well worth the stay.

I couldn't fault this place.

"A pub-restaurant with accomodation built on, rather than a hotel"

7.0

The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, but the facilities provided were very limited. The property is in the heart of a small remote village.

We messaged ahead requesting a dinner reservation. We received a rather curt response that this was not possible. When we arrived, we were told that we could not be guaranteed a table. As a resident I would expected us to get priority. We had to arrive early to get a table. They run on the basis that the guest has to accomodate the kitchen, rather than the other way around. No breakfast option.

"Fabulous location and very nice accommodation"

8.0

Fantastic location. Very clean and well maintained property. Clean comfortable well equipped rooms. Large carpark, but mainly loose gravel. Some hardstanding for motorbike which was welcome. Would have been nice to have a breakfast available. But not a big issue as there are many places to get breakfast a few miles away. Location is exceptional! Beautiful and quiet. Lovely beach 2-3 minutes walk.

"Worth the trip, we used this as our hub for seeing the sights in Donegal County!"

10.0

The room had an incredible view of the hills and the bay in the distance! The property has been recently renovated and the shower was awesome! The bed was comfortable and the heated towel rack was a bonus! Highly recommend!

We did not leave enough time to hike to the nearby tower for the incredible views. Many of the local places are closed on Monday or in the off season, so plan ahead.
