John Eoinìn's Bar and accommodation

Food was great. Welcome was second to none. View was to die for and the staff were brilliant. The way we were welcomed and the coms prior to our arrival were top draw. Nollaig made us feel included!!

This was a stop off on a trip to the north. Very comfortable, and provided a super first evening meal on this visit to Donegal. Very comfortable and warm, with excellent staff. Highly recommended. Although no breakfast service, we were directed to where we could be fed a matter of metres away.

Nothing springs to mind - it hit the target. Don't know why that glum face appears. It was great!

John Eoinìn's Bar and accommodation is a lovely spot. Very centrally located, warm and cozy. The bar and restaurant downstairs was a great little social hub for the locals in the village, also serving diner a few times a week, great addition really. The rooms upstairs were very spacious, modern and spotless. Unfortunately we were there when a massive storm swept over the country, so the nights were rough, but that's Ireland, no fault of John Eoinìn's whatsoever. I understand John Eoinìn's was one of the few places that didn't lose electricity supply in the area at the time offering a warm meeting place for locals and travellers alike. As mentioned, John Eoinìn's seems like a popular meeting spot for locals which is great, great conversations were had, but one needs to be aware that sometimes social gatherings, celebrations, etc. will take place in the bar downstairs, naturally, so the place may get a bit noisy at times. But it's a really great place and cant fault them at all. Despite some sleepless nights we had a great stay. Thanks again to all staff. Super friendly, warm and helpful throughout.

Very clean, everything you need in the room

The owners are very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and a really good size! It was also lovely and toasty warm for the cold October evenings. I stayed there as I was attending the Irish college and it was a handy location for me to get to my classes and then to also enjoy a great pint of Guinness and some food on my return.

The accommodation was new. Very fresh and spacious. Water was provided in the room and replenished on day 2. Tea/coffee was also available. Nollaig and Noel were very helpful and friendly.
