Cove Farm by Wigwam Holidays

The location was amazing in the beautiful countryside and a close walk to the beach.

We did have a lovely stay, however for £180 per night there are a few things which could have been better. First off the car park was at the bottom of the hill and our cabin was at the top! So we had to lug all of our things up the hill when we arrived and back down again when we left. Not a big deal for us but could be a challenge for others. We only had two thin pillows on the bed, so one each, we could have done with a couple more or some cushions, also no cushions on the sofa so we didn’t really have anywhere comfy to sit and relax. Also the outdoor bench was on its way out and we had to hold our drinks when we sat down / stood up as it was very rickety. We stayed two nights and the first night the hot tub was up to temperature ready for us which was lovely. The second night we needed to heat it up ourselves. We read the instructions to access the log store using the code inside the hut, unfortunately this code didn’t work for us so we were unable to access any kindling or fire lighters. So we didn’t bother heating it up on the second night. It would also have been nice to have some shower gel in the bathroom, there was handwash and loo rolls but that was it. The towels and bathroom floor mat smelt musty and damp and the hand towel in the bathroom had bleach stains on it. Also there were no extra towels provided to use for the hot tub or dressing gowns. As I say we had a great time, just a few little things which would have made it perfect.

Too much communication from both Cove Farm and Wigwam Holidays. Not necessary or helpful, actually quite confusing! Requested extra bedding for sofa bed on booking but host seemed unaware of this. Shower doors not closing so wet floor in bathroom.

Everything lol!! Even down to the towels - honestly the whole place was just amazing. Both myself and my husband had the best time.

The only thing that might have made it better would have been cover over the hot tub but that’s only because it poured with rain on our visit.

Small inconveniences eg hard sharp stones around the hot tub with no path from the lodge and Door doesn’t lock properly from the inside

We loved the location and really enjoyed our hot tub.

It would have been nice to have a bit of a shade/rain structure outside. A colander and larger pots for a family of five would have been appreciated. Small things.
