Kubu Sari Guest House

Everything was perfect. I had a very nice bungalow with a beautiful bathroom and a big porch. The family who runs it is super helpful and nice. The bed was amazing, really comfortable and with soft (at the same time) crisp bed linen. Cleanliness was perfect, (I'm used to travel for work around dirty western Europe, and honestly Europeans could learn a lot about higiene and cleanliness). It is located about 7min walking from the main road and surrounded by fields and farm landscape, hence it is very quiet and you won't hear a noise! I can 100% recommend staying here!

Great place. Simple but all a one needs. Slept very well. Nice patio, great area - so peaceful and the family is very nice and respectful.

Very good hostel, kind staff and owner, very helpful and will help you with activities and any kind of problem or question. The room was really nice, and private toilet also.

Well located guesthouse, clean, nice and chill. The owners will help you to hang around and advice you about the activities.

the property is quiet and peaceful. the room is spotlessly clean and well maintained. the room is cleaned every day. shampoo and soap are provided. there is seating on the balcony. the wifi is excellent. the bed is comfortable and has a mosquito net. the owners (family living on site) are friendly and happy to chat or smile. you can rent a motorbike from the owners (65k per day). i had a small issue with the fan in the room and they fixed it straight away.

only cold water showers, but the weather is warm enough to be ok. no choices for breakfast - you get what you're given - but it is tasty! the property is a little bit away from the main road (walking into town is 10-15 mins which is a bit scary at night with the local dogs growling at you).

The staff there were really friendly and helpful - they welcomed us with fresh coconuts and snacks and were always friendly and happy to help with anything! Value for money here is I think the best you can get in the area - it is a short walk down a rural road to the main road but not too out of the way at all and we would walk to the beach every day. A more than satisfying breakfast was included every morning, and although we had a room with no aircon the temperature was pleasant and absolutely fine with a powerful fan. I stayed at Kubu Sari for 4 nights, probably one of the best places I’ve been staying in my 9 months trip through South East Asia. Wayan and his family are very welcoming and helpful. The place is nice and quiet, beds are really comfortable. And breakfast are delicious ! I highly recommend this place ! Suksma 🙏
