Residence Padulella - Goelba

The residence Padulella is clean and comfortable. The staff is really nice and always avaliable. They make you feel looked after and as you are in good hands. The location is great as it has nice sea view from the balcony and is close to padulella beach (walking distance). The only weird thing is, that they charge extra for towells and linen. This costs 20€ per person, which is absurd. They also collect 250€ at the beggining of the stay as insurance. This gave.us a feeling, that they care more for the money, than the guests experiance.

The new apartment is close to the shops and beach, and parking is available.

It was a new apartment, but the layout was not the best for a family of 5. The living room was very small when using the sofa bed. The shower was not clean.

no tea or coffee making facility ie kettle would have been nice , had to pay additional 40 euro for towels and sheets , perhaps nicer if this was included in price so true cost displayed on site

Nothing. I do not reccomend at all this facility. Only pro is the guy at the desk who is very polite

Not reccomended. There are hidden costs which are very difficult to find (I am very surprised that booking allows for this almost fraudolent practices). Please be very mindfull if you decide to book cause you will incurr in almost hidden costs and there are a HUGE AMOUNT OF RULES which are shared only after the booking full of fines (they also ask you for a significant deposit when you arrive) On top of that, the place was not the cleanest, there was mold and the A/C did not work. NOT RECCOMENDED

We stayed only for 4 nights on Elba, but we could discover the whole island, because the location of the apartment is perfect. it’s very close to port and city center but still quiet and beautiful view, one of the most recommended beach of the island is located right next to the apartment. The studio we got is perfect, huge for 2 person, everything seemed brand new and it’s nicely furnished. Kitchen is modern and well equipped, everything was properly cleaned and the bed is very comfortable. Mr Roberto was very kind, he made us feel welcomed. check in/ check out went smoothly. all in all we were very happy with our stay and would recommend for sure! very good value for money!

Roberto met us in the lobby upon arrival. We arrived on the last ferry of the night, but he waited up for us. This was very considerate and we appreciated it very much. He made the check-in process swift and painless and showed us to our room immediately. The location is a short walk from the night life of Portoferraio but nestled in a residential neighborhood. There is an ocean view from the sprawling balconies. The parking is right across the street and very convenient. The room was large and clean. Walking distance to so many beaches. The closest of course is Padulella. But also nearby and walkable are Capo Bianco, Le Ghiaie, and Sottobomba. Only a 10 minute walk to cafes and restaurants.

Bedding is not included. In the more than 50 countries I have visited, this was the first time I have ever had to pay extra for linens on the bed. The cost is 40 euros. Once I realized this during check-in, I found that there is a small note in the list of "amenities" with "a fee" annotated next to bedding on the website; my fault for not seeing this. However, this isn't advertised upfront, which I found deceptive. When we asked if we could forego the linens, they told us that was not a possibility for hygiene purposes. So, you're obligated to pay 40 euros, and then have to make your own bed. Furthermore, toiletries and bath towels are also not included.
