La Terrazza di Porta Messina

This place was magical. The location, cleanliness, views, and terrace were all perfect — everything felt brand new. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials. But the real highlight was the host, Alessio. He was incredibly helpful and kind, always ready with great suggestions and support.

We had an amazing week long stay here at the beginning of June 2025. The rooms are great, air con and lots of storage, comfy bed, tv and internet all fab, bathroom was lovely with a very good shower. The star of this apartment is the terrace where we spent most of our time, a perfect spot for an aperitivo and people watching! You have full sun in the morning, great to see the sunrise and are shaded by the late afternoon, although electric blinds are fabulous if you decide to have lunch on the terrace. The location is perfect for exploring Taormina by foot, not only the pedestrian area but walks to the castello or beach (although you need to be sure footed!). Alessio is fantastic and responds immediately to any requests or questions

No dislikes but it is a central location so if you are a light sleeper you might wake when the recycled bottles are collected in the morning from the surrounding restaurants. The air con works very well so this can be combatted by closing windows! We were a party of four which worked fantastically, but otherwise you will share the kitchen and terrace

No breakfast supplied but plenty of options really close. Location and views from the balcony are absolutely flawless. You cannot be in a better location to explore Taormina. Decor and amenities in the room were top notch and very stylish. Alessio responded to any question and request usually within minutes so could not fault.

kitchen is shared as is the balcony, in an ideal world this would be exclusive but because of the nature of the top floor this is not possible. This however for us was never a problem.
