I don't normally write many reviews, but with accommodation like Pondok KulKul, it's really worth leaving a review. We have never stayed in such a family-run accommodation where you don't feel like just another guest or a number, but are warmly welcomed by everyone and all your needs are catered for. The staff are always available and give helpful tips on possible activities, good restaurants and much more. We were always happy to return to the accommodation because it felt like home. The rooms are always clean, the breakfast is prepared with love and the view (especially in the evening) is phenomenal! So if you are planning to come to Labuan Bajo, we would definitely recommend staying at the Pondok KulKul, because you can expect hospitality and a warm atmosphere like you rarely find here! If you're not an animal lovers, that may not be the place for you to stay, but this a very minimum thing compared to the plus.

The key things about this place are the staff and the view - both of them are absolutely perfect. The room is also very comfortable and nicely decorated, while the external partner restaurant associated with the hotel delivered some delicious food.

In terms of facilities then there aren’t really any other than the rooms and the gardens/balcony - but it’s hard to criticise this as I knew that when booking. Similarly, the place is a little away from the main strip in LB, so you’d likely need to get Grab bikes (super cheap) each way unless you’re a very keen walker… but once again, this wasn’t a surprise so it’s not a big deal.

Can't speak highly enough of this place and the staff - our stay was simply amazing. Renza and Vera were such accommodating hosts and their personal touch made our time in Komodo so much more enjoyable. Definitely would recommend to absolutely anyone.
