Da Olga

The property is clean and well cared for. There are two good sized bedrooms and two good sized shower rooms. The property is within five minutes walk of local amenities and close to the street food market with an abundance of local produce. Ernesto was very helpful answering our questions quickly. I would have liked a folder containing some information but understand that since Covid many places prefer to give on line information,

The storage in one bedroom wasn’t ideal as we had no drawers as such. The ones under the beds were not useful. The kitchen equipment was ‘basic’ but we realise that many people do not choose to cook. Although Da Olga is on a back street the neighbourhood is noisy. We know Ernesto cannot control outside noise but Da Olga is single glazed and as it’s an apartment you hear noise from above too.

Very central and spaceous. The rooms are on opposite parts of the appartment which is nice, you have a lot of privacy. Very responsive host, uncomplicated. Comfortable sofa in the living room.

Nice place, perfect for two couples.

The place was sparkling clean and equipped with everything one needs for a long or short holiday. Ernesto was very responsive, polite and attentive and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. All the rooms were air-conditioned, comfy and thoughtfully designed. Would highly recommend this place for your stay in Palermo as it is well connected to public transport and also offers ease of travel to nearby beach towns. Thanks for hosting us Ernesto. Would be happy to come back again.

The location was super central and the property very spacious and clean. We could find everything we needed and Ernesto helped us with everything we needed. Simply and exceptional stay !

Great location for visiting Palermo center! It was easy to walk from the accommodation to opera house or any of the other notable locations in Palermo. The apartment was perfectly clean and cooled quickly despite the outside July heat to ensure a relaxing, comfortable stay. Our family of 6 enjoyed staying here and would recommend this location for any length of stay in Palermo!

Parking can be a little tricky if there is none available right outside the apartment. Luckily, we were able to get a spot directly in front of the accommodation; otherwise, you have to look around a little.

Great location, walking distance to the main places in Centro storico, or to the very convenient bus that runs up and down Via Roma (if you prefer). The layout of the apartment is great for a group, 2 bedrooms at either end, each with there own bathroom, and a balcony, with the living area and kitchen in between. There is also a tiny but very functional laundry. The host, Ernesto, is very friendly and provides very good introductory information (how to get to the apartment, how to get in etc). He wasn’t able to meet us, but was very prompt replying to messages, and very responsive to questions or concerns.
