Cracking little find for the 3 of us working in the area ,comfy rooms with extra bed in lounge great for workmen. Great views out the back garden and kitchen for cooking breakfast! Good location, short little walk into the town where there are a few pubs doing some nice food also couple good fish & chip shops . Will definitely use again when in the area and it will be very soon.

The location was excellent, it was quiet and had a lovely open view at the back with a decking area if one wanted it. Easy walking distance into the town and there was an attractive and large walking/dog walking area (Torrington Common), with a river at the bottom, close by. The owner responded quickly to questions and it was easy to access the keys to the property. The property was clean and the shower was good. There was no wifi but phone reception was good.

There were no chairs in the bedroom so one had to put clothes on the floor. One of the bedside lights didn't work and the loo seat was loose. The ignition on the cooker didn't work but there was no lighter or matches available. There was basic provision for cutlery and for cooking but with no cork screw/bottle opener or sharp knife. The towels were new but they shed bits over oneself and the bath! Some of the window catches didn't work/needed repairing.

They cancelled our booking at short notice luckily we found somewhere else to stay in the local area for which I hope we received a full refund.

Very local to town and castle hill.

Lots of health and safety hazards, especially in the garden, not safe for children. The toilet seat was broken, and the house was not very clean, hair left in the bath and sink, dirty window sills, and rubbish in porch and outside the front under the kitchen window, it was also dirty between the bed and bedside table, looked like it had been a while since it was hoovered!

Location

Not having any heating, hot water or able to use the cooker in the morning. Would have been useful to have information/contact number about the top up card/emergency supply.
