Very clean and comfortable 4 bedroom house in a central location. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. The tradesman's entrance is a great cafe for a hearty breakfast. Thursday night pie night at the Old Sun Inn is not to be missed. Great Thai food at the Simply Thai restaurant.

Very limited parking spaces, fortunately we were on motorcycles so could squeeze in between the parked cars, however we were given advanced notice of this fact so were prepared. There was only one toilet in this four bedroom house, but we managed, and it was separate from the bathroom.

Recently decorated house. Nice bedrooms/beds. Good spot for exploring area. Clear instructions for directions and parking . Nice new bathroom and decent shower. Well equipped kitchen. Biscuits and tea/coffee nice touch.

Unfortunately given wrong code for the door lock box. Had to call to ask for code. Instructions for heating not clear. Also heating clock set for incorrect time so heating came on during the night (04.30). Difficult to find wifi password, would have been useful to have it written in the welcome pack. Only one toilet for 4 bedrooms. Large dining room table nice, but tricky to get round when sitting around it. Need more cushions on sofa.

It was ideally located for my elderly mum who isnt vert mobile. She had easy access to Buxton while I could jump in the car and be in the hills in a few minutes. It was clean and spacious for 2.

There were a few little niggles: Parking on the street outside the house was rarely available. I ended up having to park overnight in the pay and display, costing £4 a time. It also made unloading the car harder work than it could have been although I did manage to get a spot on the street as we were leaving. Some of the fittings were coming loose; the bannisters up to the top floor, the clothes rail in one of the top bedrooms, the latch on the bathroom. The kitchen door wouldn’t stay open on its own. I didn’t like not having a sink in the W.C, meaning u couldn’t immediately wash ur hands if someone else was using the bathroom. Not very hygienic. We used our own hand sanitiser.

It was nice to have the run of the whole house

The house slept 8 but there were very few plates, bowls, glasses, mugs etc so even though there were only 3 of us, if there had of been 8 then there wouldn't be enough for everyone.

Place was spacious and fairly clean. Location was good.

No instruction booklet for heating or wifi. Key was really stiff to use. Upstairs beds weren't that comfy. Bathroom lock is lose as is upstairs clothing rail.

The location including parking. Very clean. Good kitchen utensils. Comfortable. Helpful staff.

Needs a instruction book for WiFi and heating. The information required was provided straight away on request.

Great location, good value for money. Very spacious!

Did not realise it was 3 stories. Facilities were not good for older members of my family as stairs were too dangerous for them. Photos of the stairs needed to be shared as we would probably not have booked if we'd have known how narrow and steep there were inside the property.
