Super Hotel, augenscheinlich Neubau. Idyllisch gelegen am Fluss. Zimmer sehr gut mit großem und schönem Bad. Hervorragendes Frühstück, WLAN bestens. Ausreichend Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel. Hotel organisiert private und preiswerte Touren nach Ushguli, was wir auch genutzt haben.

Spacious clean room with comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was nice, and the staff friendly and accommodating. The rooftop terrace is really nice! Travelling with bicycles, this hotel was a welcome break from guest houses. We hate to say it but: European standards are sometimes just nice.

Just slightly on the edge of town, but that was the only downside...

The hotel feels brand-new, with stylish and comfortable rooms. The view from the window was wonderful, the bed was large and cozy, the shower had great water pressure, and the toiletries smelled amazing. Breakfast was tasty and fairly diverse. The location is fantastic – right by the river, with a mountain view.

It seems the renovation was done with care, but the service does not yet match the price point. For $120 per night, you get a frequently broken elevator (it stopped working at least three times during our two-night stay), a child at the reception who had to run around for 10 minutes looking for their mom before helping guests, and dirty towels and sheets left piled up on sofas in the common areas of the floors where guests are supposed to sit. At breakfast, the only coffee available was 3-in-1 instant coffee. If there were other options, nobody informed us. On the roof, there are hot water barrels where you can relax, but no one told us about them at check-in – we only discovered them by chance when we saw other guests there. The rooftop area itself is also unfinished: just a few randomly placed tables and chairs, a closed bar, and not much else. Perhaps once it’s completed, it will become a nice spot to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee, but for now – not really. Wi-Fi only works properly until around 8 a.m.; after that, it struggles even to load messages, let alone photos or videos. I’m sharing all this in the hope that these small issues will be fixed, because the hotel really has potential. With some improvements, it could become a true oasis in the mountains.
