I liked how clean it was - the pictures matched quite well! - It felt fresh and we felt at home. Had most things we needed from the fitted kitchen and the warmth of the flat

A lot of the furniture was broken - I think all the furniture needs replacing, the sofa bed was not comfortable at all and all the coffee tables were unusable as they were broken

Our stay was incredibly disappointing and stressful. The bed was uncomfortable, making loud, springy noises, and the pillows were completely worn out. To make matters worse, the bed covers had stains on them. As someone with autism, cleanliness is extremely important to me, and seeing the stains made me feel uneasy. I had to step out while my partner changed the bedding. The most alarming issue was when, shortly after we checked in, someone unlocked the door and entered the property at around 3:40 PM. It turned out to be the cleaner, who let herself in without knocking or announcing herself. The door had been double-locked, but she still managed to enter, claiming she had left her coat inside. This was deeply unsettling, especially since the booking had specified the check-in time. When I messaged the host about this, I received an apology and a vague assurance that they would speak to the cleaner. However, no solution was offered to ensure our safety. We were so unnerved that we barricaded the door with our belongings. The rest of the night was equally awful. The neighbors were excessively loud, with banging doors and footsteps echoing through the corridor. Combined with the earlier intrusion, it was impossible to relax or feel safe. The next morning, check-out was at 11 AM, but at 10:30 AM, while I was in the shower (also the shower-head was taped up with what looked like bandage plasters to hold the head to the pipe which seems extremely unhygienic), there was loud banging on the door. My partner answered and it was the cleaner again, insisting she was there to clean—30 minutes before we were even due to leave. Despite being told we weren’t ready, she waited right outside the door with a young child, in turn making us feel pressured to leave. I messaged the host again about this but received no response. The overall property is very clean and aesthetically pleasing however comfort is not there. And a great amount of towels provided. Plenty of local amenities and food shops

The sofa bed was broken, and when you sit on it, it creaks terribly. The bed was very uncomfortable you could feel the springs in your back, the water did not go quickly in the shower and had to pause the shower to let the water flow go down the drain several times. Apartment is very cold and took about 2 hours for it to warm up.

The owner, Lauren was polite, kind and quick to respond. The property was comfortable and quiet, and I was so relaxed that I almost overslept. Highly recommended in Hemel Hampstead. Many thanks!

I like the fact that the property has an elevator. That was very good and it’s close to anything you need in terms of commerce

It’s got no designated parking. I had to make several calls and wait before I could get a parking space that was not guaranteed. In addition to the above, in my seven days there, I had to clean up the place as no service for cleaning was provided. I am not familiar with residence or hotels giving out brown colored towels. I think that was not cool. Standard towel should be white

It was a lovely place to stay so close to everything you need shops food walking social pubs very comfy to stay in and lovely to get in from work to a beautiful apparentment

The flat is exactly as described. It is modern, clean and comfortable - everything works. The location is excellent being directly on the main shopping street in Hemel - also only 20 minutes on foot from Hemel railway station.
