The apartment is well equipped and looks nice

The company managing the apartment is extremely unhelpful, rude and unprofessional! We came with our baby boy and desperately needed a baby crib. Asked about it before arrival (nobody told us we will not get one) but it was not prepared. He slept with us in 140cm bad… crib eventually was delivered after the first 2 nights ( and after a scandal) still full fee was charged from our deposit, together with added extra charge (for other charges instructions were send and we paid in cash with no extra charge so they could have asked for that amount too). The first night it was 17 degrees in the apartment and we asked for a heater - guess what - it was never provided. The management does not know what type the coffee machine at the apartment is. When asked in advance they told us it’s Nespresso (we bought coffee for 7 days which we were unable to use) - it was lavazza pods. Expectedly, there not even 1 capsule left for our afternoon arrival when after 7 pm no grocery works. There was a broken window in the living room - with a small kid that may always be a big problem. They promised the window will be changed but that never happened during our 7 nights stay. The sliding door in the living room was not properly closing - you cannot leave anything inside as you would reasonably fear that someone will jump through the balcony and steal your belongings. The bedrooms are really tiny so if you can’t open a window (door in that case) you are out of oxygen in 2-3 hours. The building is relatively clean but the first floor is rented by some seasonal workers and they are trolling all kind of stuff around. The management wants you to clean the apartment before leaving and throw all your trash before leaving. Cortina is a great place though, but stay away from properties managed by that company!

Due to a plumbing issue at Appartamento Verocai we stayed in Villa Socrepes - Dolomiti Skyline. The apartment is 3 levels and very spacious and high quality. You need a car at this location as it’s a few km from the town centre. Lovely view of the mountains surrounding Cortina from the top level and outside.

The steep driveway with loose gravel at the parking spot and steps up into apartment makes access difficult with luggage. The dining room / kitchen is in the basement level - would be nice if this had views to the outdoors.
