Neptune's Rest

It was very easy to collect the property keys as the owners live on site

The pod was fantastic. It was clean and well-appointed. It had everything a couple needs for a self-catering stay. Our host, Iain, was great, very attentive.

Whilst the location is good with respect to getting to local attractions and amenities, the pod is in Iain's back garden in a housing estate.

The hut itself was great but location is aweful

Simple but adequate. What didn’t you like? Hard to find parking spot.

Even though the directions were given, it was still hard to find. Maybe a visual map.

The Hosts were very forthcoming. We arrived late and due to us being a bit aprehensive with the construction site in the back of the house row, we missed the pod. But when we approached the house front, Iain was already waiting and was very nice in welcoming us and explaining everything. Any contact we made was quickly responded to. We had a parking space right outside the pod, there was breakfast and some food as well as some ice cool beer, which we didn't make use of since we ain't beer drinker. But it was a lovely gesture none the less. The chanal and the Loch beach is a mere stones throw away from the pod as well. Beautiful and worth a visit.

We can't think of anything that was not splendid.

Beautiful pod, absolutely spotless, and iain was so keen to know that we had everything we would need (which we definitely did!). Really comfortable bed, and we both slept soundly.

The area was more built up than I had anticipated, but once in the pod, with it's lovely private courtyard, we could literally have been anywhere!. In compensation, the canal was a two minute walk away.

Quite surprising little place!

Really warm to start but Scotland had an expected heat wave in May. Once cooled down nice little place.
