Cool-inn Otaru

Very clean rooms and a small kitchenette that comes with stove, kettle, fridge. They even provided 5 water bottles which is the no. of pax we have stay in this nice cozy hotel. Split into 3 levels and all levels have their own air-con units - ground is living, dinning, plus bathrooms. Provide even a small portable stove for Shabu Shabu if we want and comes with all kind of sauces in the fridge. Very Thoughtful.

3 levels which means I've to climb the stairs to get into bathroom at ground level. Could be a challenge for older folks. The hotel is located on the main street which means traffic noise could be heard. There were people ramping their cars at night when they drove past. WiFi is provided by a small portable MiFi and it hanged on one occasion but it was alright once I reset it.

It was very spacious with three floors, comfortable and the interior design was cool. It was next to the main road and easy to find but not noisy. There was a parking space for our rented car which was good because it is not easy to always look for parking and it would have been very expensive overnight. They had everything right down to the grilling plate for a genghis khan meal. Too bad we only stayed for a night. Our schedule was tight which meant that we had to move around a lot.

The main door was a glass front it was only partially tinted. There was a curtain that you could close so that it was not so open to the public eye. However, I think tinting the whole glass front would have been better. Otherwise all else was very good.

Cool inn apartment it's very comfortable to stay,location is convenient to town.
