It is quite close to the city center and mostly met expectations

Check-in was a bit difficult. Had some minor issues opening the lockbox to get the key. Early check-out time – 10 AM. The floor wasn't very clean. Also, got a message from Wonderful the day before leaving, reminding me to wash the dishes :)))"

We were very disappointed in the service . We informed them we would be late arriving ( after services closed) due to change of flight .when w E arrived , no key , no code to get a key , nothing . Several text messages went unanswered, phone calls went to an answering machine. Finally we had to find other accommodation at midnight . Next morning no reply from them until after midday when. By then we had booked elsewhere. We. Expect a full refund for this debacle. The Agency concerned ( based in Milan we were told ) should have an emergency help line in place for these situations. I’m really dissatisfied with booking this accommodation. The check-in process was overly complicated and completely unnecessary — requiring the guest to fill out tons of information and digitally sign a contract through an app that didn’t even work properly. I couldn’t complete the process because of issues with their app, and it led to additional delays and wasted time upon arrival — time that I can’t get back. It was a really frustrating and disappointing experience.

To make this clear for future guests, the site offers two apartments (a.k.a. triple rooms) at the ground floor of an apartment building. There’s a separate entrance for these two apartments once entered the building. I stayed at what’s described in Booking as a comfortable triple room, and yes, it was definitely comfortable. More than I expected when reading the comments. Everything is just as in the photos, the room is large with a folk-style ceiling, with a sofa, a coat-stand, a sink and kitchen utensils, a hot-plate. The bathroom also looks fine. I think the place is being cleaned well. This room has a window that looks onto the street (no problem with opening the window, even though there are passersby, there are bars, mosquito net, curtains). Easy and contactless check-in and check-out. Easy contact with the managing company in their designated working times (they do have a phone for urgent calls though). The welcome gift – Italian cookies – were very much appreciated. For those like me, who are interested in exploring the region of Puglia and not simply Bari’s beaches, the place is about a 10-minute walk to the main train station and a 2-minute walk to Quintino Sella train station.

The water in the shower cabin wasn’t draining upon arrival, so I contacted the managing company and they quickly fixed the problem. I also mentioned that the WiFi wasn’t working, but this problem wasn’t fixed. Not even the TV was able to connect to the WiFi. Maybe due to the position of the room (ground floor) I often had problems connecting to a mobile network. The fridge is a bit noisy. There’s some mold on almost every wall of the room, which wasn’t such a big trouble but some treatment (anti-mold paint) would do good. And the mosquito net had slipped up a bit downwards and needs some fixing. I would suggest adding a few bowls to the utensils. Also, a pair of scissors and lower pillows.

Only one glass to drink wine, i think also miss a big body mirror. And before my check in, in my first day visiting the city on my vacation, they made me feel anxious with a lot messages on Whats app about the document of the second person, that i wasn’t sure if will be with me or not, but anyway i paid for both since the beginning, and i was trying to relax also in my first day and not using the cellphone.
