La casuzza di Tindaro

Renzo the owner was great, our flight was delayed and we were arriving a lot later then expected, he waited for us as much as he could to make sure to give us the keys. When it was clear we will be quite late, he left the key in the lock box, but made sure to help and text us suggestions of spots for late dinner and suggestions of what to see in the city.

We were pretty happy with everything. Nothing that we have desperately needed.

The property is close to the Benedictine Monastery of San Nicolò l'Arena and within walking distance of all the major historical sites. It is a short walk into the city centre and there are plenty of good bars and restaurants in the area. Renzo is a fantastic host who responded quickly to our questions and gave great advice on places to see and eat locally as well as places to visit in the area.

The room was spacious and clean

Better location and access to the keys. I didn't have internet at the time of my arrival.

Well equipped with everything you would need, including a washing machine, coffee maker, bottled water etc. Central, safe area for a solo female traveller. Immaculate, modern facilities. But the absolute best part about ‘La Casuzza Di Tindaro’ was the host, Renzo. I will never forget his kindness and generosity. No wonder this place is always booked!

Great location, very clean, good size, nice little balcony, very comfortable bed. I didn't use the kitchen but it had good facilities. Nice touch leaving water. Good Comms, Renzo gave clear instructions for getting in, some recommendations for things to do and the details of a nice taxi driver to get me to the airport.

Nothing about the apartment but check Google maps, it took me up a massive hill with a big suitcase when I could have gone another far flatter way!

Typical local stay experience in Catania. The apartment was very spacious and modern. It was close to center and lots of things to see nearby. It was located up a hill so bring your best training shoes to walk up.
