The Old Smithy

The house was extremely clean and very comfortable, there was a lot of detail and thought put into the design, and the overall feel was cozy. We stayed here as we where travelling to longleat safari, and we would highly recommend this property if you are in the area.

Absolutely lovely cottage. There were 3 adults and a child spending the weekend together just before Christmas. The Christmas tree was unexpected and beautiful. We would all gladly spend more time here.

Into in and out of the main road isn’t for the faint hearted but it isn’t actually as bad as you’re, the house itself makes you think it’s all worth it.

If I was being very picky … it needed a few coat hooks in the hallway . That’s the only thing I could find fault with!

So cosy and warm. Great location perfect for the dog with the enclosed garden to rear. Lovely powerful shower

Did find it a little hard to find but because it was dark when we arrived found Google maps on phone found it better than car sat nav

Beautiful cottage close to the attractions in the area. Wish we could have stayed longer.

More hand rails for the stairs would have been better. I have some mobility issues and had a little difficulty.
