Milkwood Cottage - Seaview Serenity

The location was perfect. Pity dogs are not allowed on the beach. Beautiful views and very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay. We found the cottage very comfortable.

Towels were very limited, and we had no bathmat for the outside bathroom.

The location is right next to the beach, everything was very clean. The pressure in the shower is amazing. The kitchen is well equipped. Communication with the host was excellent. We had a slight inconvenience as I was in recovery, and it was very cold inside the cabin, but Erick was on the ball and was very understanding and accommodating about our situation and resolved it within hours. Check-in was easy with the lock system and sensor beans around the cabin. Would visit again with a bigger group in summer for more peace of mind.

The cabin shares a road to public beach parking , so anyone can drive in and park near cabin. People were driving in at all hours of the night, which made me feel a little uneasy. The outside sensors were triggered about 4.30 am , and the security guard was inside the property to check, which gave me a fright having someone knock on windows and doors at that hour after the alarm came on. So sleep wasn't as restful. Would recommend staying with a group of people for more safety. Electric gate perhaps could be installed as well for extra security. Cabin is pet friendly, but the beach isn't pet friendly, which was a bummer.

Milkwood Cottage is right on the beach road, with just a short walk to a wide pristine beach. The cottage is freshly renovated and comfortably furnished. Our host was very accommodating considering our late booking and checkin. We felt welcome and safe!

The house has an amazing look & feel. Beautifully decorated, yet simple. The house has views towards the sea side as well as the lagoon. Perfectly situated for a walk on the beach, or a cycle on the tarred road. Would love to stay in this gem again!
