The location

The property wasn’t that well maintained. The bed was a steel frame which wasn’t too comfortable. Broken light lamp. Old curtains. Tv didn’t work. And I kept getting messages from the owner about how I will get charged penalties if I don’t do certain things. It felt like almost everyday I was getting messages like that since I booked. I have travelled a lot and have rarely been communicated in this manner, so bit more courtesy towards the customer would be nice. Don’t keep telling people you will be charged £80 if a towel gets stained. Because of this we didn’t even use the towels and instead used ours.

The location of the building was close to the train station, and by extension the more exciting parts of town.

The room i was given was full of annoying problems. The shower head was continuously leaking and you couldn't even hang it up on the hook because the hook was broken as well. Turning off the lights left the room in a bright green tint from another light that there was no way to actually turn off. And the walls were so thin that i could hear the upstairs neighbours having sex And after a day i found that there was no extra toilet paper anywhwre in the room or building. And instead of managing to get some more, the staff weren't scheduled to come in during my stay, so i had to purchase my own. Their solution was instead that i could check out an hour later than usual. Which would not have fixed the problem anyway.

Location is close to city centre and public transport

The fridge is very small and cannot contain items for 2 adults. The kitchen is very small too and two people cannot use it at the same time. it is also dirty The pillows are flat and the bed is old The TV does not even have a news channel
