"The property deserted the place"

Having an appartment with a kitchen

Arriving and finding a closed place. The property had left for many months without taking care of the place. We had to knock at other customers' window to ask them how to get into the motell and how to know where to sleep. They told us that they had the same problem. They called for us a woman part of the staff and who knew that a local person had the keys of a bedroom that we could use...The property never contacted us to apologize. The price was way too expensive for the quality of the accomodations and the poor customer service we had...
