Daria's home apartment rooms

The apartment is a 5-minute walk from Palermo's central train station. You can arrive at any time as the keys are located in a locker in front of the door. The sea is within a 20-minute walk, and most of the attractions are also within walking distance. We had excellent communication with the apartment owner via WhatsApp. The apartment was modern and clean, with a particularly spacious shower being a great feature.

The apartment has poor soundproofing, so it can sometimes get loud. You can especially hear people in the hallway, and the sound of heavy doors closing can be quite loud. Occasionally, you can hear chatter from the other rooms, but it's not loud enough to be overly annoying. The fridge, located next to the bed, is particularly noisy and can be distracting when trying to fall asleep.

Easy to walk everywhere from this location; well appointed room with everything we needed (including very comfy beds, a fridge and coffee machine, and a balcony); very friendly owners who oriented us with a city map.

There were two noisy cafes at either entrance to the street that played loud music until late even on weekdays, though it didn't bother us much.

It was very close to the train station, Lidl, downtown. New apartment, spacious shower, perfect hot water. Comfortable bed. Safe neighborhood.

We had no luck getting in. Italian communication in writing. We accidentally got the wrong code, strangers opened another box. Owner came over, he was nice. We got another room. I think the front door of the apartment was pushed by several people, because each time it was many minutes before it opened. If it has not been repaired, ask for personal admission. There is a Moroccan restaurant under the apartment. You can't ventilate in the evening because it smells like food.

Good location, close to the central station and the touristic area

Upstairs neighbors were quite noisy and hot water failed for a while.
