Mulberry home with pond view

Nice house

The location was ok. Seemed like a safe and friends neighborhood.

On the surface it was clean, but the walls and the carpet were definitely in need of a thorough cleaning or refreshing. Aside from one couch, the furniture looked like it all came from temu. It was small, spindly and uncomfortable. Expired filter on the fridge. Gas fire pit outside ran out of gas within 15 minutes of its first use. Master bath door handle kept falling off and at one point we couldn’t get into the bathroom with our stuff inside. Did I mention we had NO HOT WATER. Let the property manager know the night we arrived that we had no hot water. It worked intermittently the first day and then not again during our stay. We arrived on Thursday and it took until Tuesday to get a plumber out to look at it. So, we had 5 women heating water on the stove to take sponge baths. Had only cold water to wash hair, dishes and clothes. It never did get fixed, and the property manager offered $100 in compensation. When I suggested that wasn’t acceptable he offered $250 and in the end, refused to even give that once I said our review would reflect our stay. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and some have been less than perfect but I have never complained. I am pretty easy to get along with, but this was terrible customer service by both the property manager and booking.com It was very inconvenient only being able to communicate with the property manager through booking.com. BTW, the description of Mulberry house with “pond view” is deceiving. You are surrounded by neighbors and fencing. If there was a pond view, it could only have been seen from the upstairs master bedroom…?? Possibly? I don’t recall seeing a pond and wouldn’t let that be an enticing feature of the home or you will be disappointed.

Clean and as described. Great communication will definitely put this in my list as one of the best locations I’ve stayed at. Thank you for the hospitality
