Location was perfect for exploring Monsanto Castle and extremely close to the restaurant and taverna in the tiny town

"Stairway to Castle could be called Stairway to Heaven"

We loved staying in the stairway to the castle in the unique village of Monsanto. We enjoyed being able to quietly explore the narrow streets and the castle next to us. the town at night is magical . The house is beautifully decorated and clean and comfortable. The host Simon was very responsive and you felt welcome and supported if needed. Would definitely recommend we discovered there is more to this area than expected.
