The Plough Inn

Very clean and tidy perfect for a one night stay. Had all facilities for longer stays. Shower was amazing staff very helpful very impressed.

Not being able to completely close off so dogs couldn’t escape. One gap with no gate.

Loved the location we were looking for a proper pub that served great food with plenty of walk options. Guy was excellent host. Food was excellent and the pod had all mod cons if you wanted to self cater. Will definitely be returning without question Paid for late check out

The only downside was perhaps the really hard pillows and because its so popular it might be time to get a mattess with a new lease of life.

The main chap Guy dealing with the pub and pods was fun and friendly! Great little get away!

Some small tweaks to make it tip top: Ensure kitchen has eating knives and little spoons (along with the cutlery that was there). Could have done with a tea towel (we used bath towel) 1) to dry up 2) to get things out of the oven. A cloth/spray to wipe surfaces down. Perhaps a bottle opener, cheese grater and scissors would help make the kitchen “well equipped” Perhaps a small basket to collect recycling next to bin would be beneficial. And finally a toilet roll holder wouldn’t go miss!

Nothing not to like the bed was comfortable size of cabin was great outside sitting area all you needed for a night away

Such a lovely pub and pods. Had a 2 night stay would definitely come back. Great location. Had a meal in the pub which was delishious great home cooked wholesome food. The pod was very cute cosy and warm. All of the staff were very polite and helpful. We will definitely return didn't want to leave. Thanks to guy and his team 😀

There isn't anything we didn't like but maybe we could make a suggestion of oven gloves as we cooked one night and was a bit of tricky getting the food out the oven. Possibly some mugs for teas (just personal preference) as there were coffee cups. Leaky shower but didn't effect use in anyway, shower was great really powerful. But that really is nit picking, the pods are in a great spot. 👌
