"Wonderful light, warm, spacious house secluded in woodland"

Wonderfully light and beautifully decorated spacious house. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more e.g. a slow cooker). It was really warm and comfortable. For anyone who has read the previous comments - there is now a TV in the lounge. We loved the secluded location and there is a gorgeous walk from the house, through the woodland down to the river. The host was gave us a warm welcome and she lives close by so is on hand for any issues (we didn’t have any) but is not intrusive. We had a wonderful holiday, would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Storywood is a beautiful, large home. Very light and bright. Lovely interior and lots of interesting artwork. Loads of books and puzzles. All the kitchen “stuff” you could want. 4 good sized bedrooms, 1 en suite and another bathroom downstairs. Both with bath and shower. Living areas feel huge. Cannot fault it. We loved staying here. The large gardenia wonderful to explore and lots of wildlife- we saw 2 deers, squirrels, a pheasant regularly tapped on the windows! Also a lovely, friendly cat came to say hello. It’s secluded and extremely quiet. So peaceful. Loads of great things to do and places to visit nearby and further afield .

Wi-Fi a little patchy but tbf that’s expected and is same everywhere that’s in a quiet area.

"excellent family holiday home in beautiful surrounds"

The location was perfect - beautiful surrounds - we saw a deer on our first night . The large kitchen table was perfect to gather around and the open plan living and comfy sofas added tomour vfamilies enjoyment of the wonderful home.
