Nothing. Bedrooms in outbuildings might be a problem for some but was ok for us as a couple.

NZLocation is great,.
We took the top off the spa and the water was brown and smelly, also full of sand. The edges of the pool were grubby. The filter was new but looked like it had never been turned on. The water needs to be emptied out and the pipes and pool disinfected before it is used. Operating the stove top and oven is a challenge, clearer instruction in the email would be good. There was no dining table, or bar to eat off. Dinner on our laps for 4 days was fine for adults, but would be a challenge with children.
GBLoved the location, right on the beach, the hot tub and kayaks were fab! And everything we needed was there. Just brilliant from start to finish.

AUNZSuch a beautiful setting, and a beautiful home. Loved having the beach for a backyard. The kids loved kayaking. The house was equipped with everything for a super comfortable stay, including a great range of board games. The spa was a treat, as well as having super fast wifi, and a washing machine. Having a desk that looked out towards the water - I don't know how anyone gets any work done lol the view is so nice! Definitely was a perfect spot to base ourselves for a quick winter weekend away, and is a holiday destination itself for sure.
There wasn't anything not to like. We wish we could've stayed there for longer.

NZWe loved everything down to the kayaks under the house for us to explore the waters. It’s a full house of everything you need 🥰
We were excited about the spa, us girls but only problem was it was not heating up, so that was a miss for us but would of been the cherry on top ☺️
GBStunning view of sea, lots of sea birds. Kayaks available. Lovely walks over a bridge. Spoke to local Maori collecting clams, they told us how to cook them. We had a delicious dinner with fresh clams.
It's next to the water, so home is a little fusty. I've lived in waterside properties and know this is a common problem.
