Bains House, Gairloch

Spacious and well-equipped accommodation in walking distance of local shops and amenities. Very clean and welcoming.

The bed was a little hard for us (but some people might like that)

Great location in Gairloch. Lovely lounge and dining room. Plenty room for parking and large garden.

Contrary to some other reviews. Sadly, parts of the house are in need of some tlc. Aspects of the kitchen and bathroom are in need of some love & attention... Over half the kitchen cupboards have a 'locked' sign stuck on them, as well as a large fridge/freezer and a unit in the dining room. This personally does not give that welcome vibe. Toilet seat was loose, which I had to report. Sarah did quickly respond and organised someone to come the next day. Temp repair sorted. Apparently this is the owners 'home' and not a 'holiday let', which we feel needs to be highlighted in the detail...... It would be great to have some milk in the fridge as we arrived late after a long trip.

It is a home away from home. Had everything one could need for a short or long stay. Loads of space. Perfectly located for us. Many thanks.

Couldn’t find iron and ironing board but didn’t matter

Was lovely to have the space to spread out, having stayed in pods on previous nights!! Very welcoming host and lots of communication.

Felt a little too much like we were staying in someone's private home - which I suspect we were! Preference is to stay in more 'clinical' surroundings!

Home from home, perfect

I recently stayed at Bains House during a cycling trip of the nearby area. It is in a great location... very convenient to nearby beautiful beaches. The property was great... It had everything I needed and more. A well-equipped kitchen, large living room with very comfortable seating, and a dining room. The bedroom was nice too and the bed was very comfortable. It was a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. I was only staying for one night but could have happily spent much more time there. It was great.

Very spacious kitchen, dining room, and lounge. Lots of power sockets

Bedroom and bathroom on the small size compared to the rest, but it did not matter as the rest of the spaces were large
