Wisteria Lodge by Veneto Villa

Super location, all facilities exist, lot of places, but everything isn’t clean which is very pity, when it will be cleaned properly it will be 11 out of 10.

Eaten alive by mosquitos!

They did not want to help us with check in, so we lost one night. We were delayed due to an accident, we kept them updated to our movement and although they had somebody on site during the night, they told us we can not access after the established hour.

Transportation: * 2 minutes from a highway entrance/exit * 40 minutes to Marco Polo airport and Venice. * 15 minutes to Padua center * 1 hr to Bologna and Verona. Around: * Supemarket Interspar + shopping mall: 3 minutes away * Quellegiusta - a huge upscale shoes store: 2 minutes away * Spas of Abano Terme:10 minutes away Around the Villa: * The villa is inside a large private estate (~100x100 meters) of a local aristocratic family. * The estate is a walled park with lots of open space, nice trees, benches and sculptures. * You share it all with tenants leaving in several properties in the estate. * Restricted entrance through a gate with remote controller. Villa: * Two story house from early 20th century, high ceilings. * Central heating + air conditioners in salon. * Large modern TV with streaming apps. * Well equipped kitchen: dishwasher, stove, grill, micro + decent fridge. * Large internal courtyard with dining table, bbq and old well. * 2 Full bathrooms + 1 toilet on ground floor. * A charming library room with sofa and reading table. Hosts: * Manfredo was readily available, very attentive and helped us through the stay. P.S. try the more expensive red wines in the kitchen (need to buy with price list there) - they are produced by the owner family in their Tuscany winery and have good scores on Vivino.

Since it is an old house you should be ready that some appliances and furnishings are not on par with modern hotels. i.e. doors to one of bathrooms don't lock, no closure screen in one of showers, and other small inconveniences.
