CasAlice nel cuore di Lipari

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ottima posizione centrale, vicino ai porti, bella vista sul terrazzo. Proprietario gentilissimo che ci ha ricevuto al nostro arrivo al porto e accompagnato all'appartamento in auto

We liked the proximity to everything in the old town. Marcello picked us up from the ferry and told us a lot about the history of Lipari and gave us a warm welcome to his old family home. The bed we used was on the first floor and was very comfortable. The gas hob and small bench top oven enabled us to cook our own meals. Bottles of drinking water were provided. It was the perfect place for our weeks stay and would recommend booking this home especially for a family or more than two people. The rooftop balcony was a great place to eat or just relax and take in the views.

The interior is well lived in so a bit tired and outdated but the price reflects this and the photos e.g. of purple bedroom and vivid orange bathroom are quite clear and true to reality. Sometimes the power went off when using the washing machine but easily fixed once we knew where to turn the fuse box on again (we also turned one of the hot water cylinders off at the wall switch when this occurred which seemed to help). The wifi was slow and erratic at the end of our stay but this may have been the result of an electrical storm. The rooftop plants need some care or be repotted.

We are very grateful to have been hosted by them. Lipari is an amazing place and their house has so much soul. Very kind and were very welcoming. We hope to see them again.
