La Torre Rooms

Abbiamo soggiornato in una stanza ampia, ben arredata e molto confortevole, dove ogni dettaglio trasmetteva cura e attenzione. La proprietaria è stata squisita: sempre gentilissima e disponibilissima nel suggerire ottimi ristoranti e indicare i luoghi più belli da visitare in paese. La colazione è stata un momento speciale: ricca, buonissima e servita in un salone con una vista mozzafiato su tutto il borgo di Spoleto. Un soggiorno che unisce comfort, ospitalità e bellezza: non potremmo che consigliarlo caldamente a chiunque voglia vivere Spoleto al meglio. Assolutamente top.

Bellissima struttura nella Torre dell’Ulivo che é uno dei siti di interesse di Spoleto, non altrimenti visitabile. La camera é molto spaziosa, le aree comuni arredate con cura. La colazione é servita in una sala della torre e offre uno scorcio panoramico spettacolare. La proprietaria é cordiale e accogliente.

This place was in the center of Spoleto and a short walk to the Cathedral and the castle elevators. Plenty of options for eating and shopping nearby. Great views. The staff was very friendly and communicated ahead of time. (It is not a full time reception desk so communicating the time of arrival is helpful to the staff). Very small and welcoming- the room was very nice and breakfast was good. We stayed here on the Way of St Francis and would recommend it to anyone staying in Spoleto.

The host, Stefania was absolutely spot on, very welcoming and helpful. The place is more than adequate, well appointed, simply but tastefully decorated. I would like to give advice for anyone with mobility issues. There is a lift up to the accommodation, but, as you would expect for a tower, there are steps inside. The room my friend took had a narrow staircase to get to the dressing area and bathroom. That would have been impossible for me so people might like to specify if they have any problems. The location is about 10 minutes from the centre and all uphill ( and steps) BUT there is a simply wonderful travelator systems that takes you all over the town, literally just around the corner. It starts in the car park you are advised to use.

The car park which is nearby and you get a reduced ticket for £5 for the day is very convenient. However, you can only stay there for 24 hours and you need to exit, go around a short one way system and repark. Really stupid considering you can get multiple days by exiting and returning. Also, the breakfast, which does have a wonderful view, was a bit spartan and not much choice. But, I would definitely stay there again.
