Konstantinos , luxury maisonette in Chania

New house, true to pictures. The beds were good. The washing machine was helpful. Location was good, about 10 min drive and easy to get to Chania center if you have a car.

The pool was dirty so we couldn't use it, which was a huge disappointment to the kids. The hot/cold indication in the shower was set the opposite way so the first one of us who used it burnt a hand.. There should be a warning about this. The one and only toilet/shower is downstairs and this is not convenient. It's right on the main street so it gets noisy. Only 1 toilet paper roll for 6 people for 2 nights. No tablets were provided for the dishwasher and no dish rack for hand washing. For the washing machine there was a very small detergent for hand washing clothes, I assume it was left there by previous guests.

house interior is fine. Strange led light in the rooms that cannot be turned off.

NOISE. If you plan to have some sleep during your stay, better head to another place I had a reservation for 7 nights, after 1 sleepless night, the house is on the road and this road is too crowded with cars motorcycles and buses driving fast, I have asked the owner to release me from this hell. she replied she cannot do a thing and she won't refund me with anything. so I have just left , preffered sleeping over some bucks. a great place to remember not to return to.

Good size bedrooms and kitchen was very nice, washing machine was perfect for families or friends staying more than a couple of days.

The bedrooms are on the top floor and going down a decent amount of stairs to get to the only bathroom was not great. The location is a bit remote and every night you could hear cars racing at all hours of the night.

The lock box was right beside the gate entrance and easily accessible. The accomadation was very clean and comfortable. Location is a quiet neighborhood with both restaurants and mini market nearby but not a far drive to beaches or old town. The hosts Giorgos and Inna are wonderful people who go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed.

Parking on the street can be limited and challenging depending on the time of day.
